Hi All I wondered if anyone could help me with my DAB and FM connections on my ford focus st mk3 (63 plate). I have installed a 3rd party headunit (kenwood). And when I first connected it up I could not get anything from the DAB connection using the white fakra.

I had a prius for a 24hrs test drive and the radio was really good compared to the kuga. but on some roads the tyre noise was louder than the radio.
Posted September 27, 2020. The mk3 Focus is very easy to tune the DAB into. All you do is press the CD track skip buttons (next to the phone answer and end call buttons respectively on the Sony stereo. Otherwise above the volume button on the non-Sony unit). Specific stations are all grouped together when you go through the list (known as blocks).

In my opinion this looks much better than a Single Din radio. To fit a Double Din radio in a focus MK1 minor modifications to the dash panel are needed. Luke4efc. Just because the aerial is in the boot doesn't mean you have a DAB radio. Activating it in Forscan may cause issues if the correct hardware isn't available. For all we know the booster in the boot was fitted to every mk7 fiesta, not just those with DAB. The actual DAB aerial is part of the roof antenna.

We have a my12 focus titanium with the Sony dab system. All the other radio functions work apart from the dab. says no signal. You can rescan and it picks up the stations. You can’t save any in the systems memory as it says there is no signal. To be fair it’s a piss poor system that’s never particularly been good. the systems sync 2. Usually the "Unconfigured Mode" message is shown on a radio which is not compatible with the car. This is a known issue after a Sony radio from a Mondeo MK4 or S-max/Galaxy is installed into a Focus MK2/MK2.5. Posted March 10, 2019. Looks like my Sony DAB radio have a limit problem on how many radio stations/channels it can receive. Alway missing two channels (random). Change to a other radio channel on a different mux and back, then I can listen to the desired channel. Asked Ford for a firmware update, but they don't understand this problem, and the
