Before the Audi I had a VW 2.0 TDI with about 120k miles which was perfect. Im surprised you get 39 mpg with the 3.0 TDI as i only get 40 mpg with the 2.0 TDI 170 Quattro. This is mostly motorway miles and i dont dry with the foot down all the time either. There are threads on here discussing MPG for the 2.0 TDI 170 Quattro and I haven't seen many registering MPG above 40-45. The 2.7-liter V6 TDI engine is a less powerful and smaller counterpart of the 3.0-liter TDI engine but is more efficient. This engine was designed by Audi and was only found in Audi vehicles.
