Just last week I bought a second hand Focus Zetec 1.0 125, registered in 2013, from a local Ford garage. However, I have only just noticed that there is no spare wheel! No full size wheel, nor space saver. There IS a space under the carpet in the boot, but I've not yet checked whether it is big enough for a full size wheel or just a space saver.

Having looked at both, the boot space seems to be different on some specs but then the same on others? Some say they’re both 373 and some say the st line x is 273, Bit confused really. from what I can gather if you have the b&o sound system or a spare wheel then you lose 100 litres space.

2489 posts · Joined 2015. #3 · Mar 13, 2016 (Edited by Moderator) Yes there does appear to be confusion on this subject, but a steel space saver spare is standard on the entire Focus range regardless of wheel size. It was also standard on my pre facelift 2014 ST. You get an option of a full size spare on models fitted with 16" wheels.
The red arrow is the source of the leak and the blue line is the path the leak takes. The easy fix would be to seal this up on the inside with silicon but the leak is in the very far corner and inaccessible with a silicon gun or even scraping it into the corner. It looks like it will be a rear bumper removal job.
