Posted February 13, 2021. the catalytic converter is attached to the turbocharger with three screws and a ( nut + stud ) combination as shows in the two photos. the part numbers are : screw : HS1 - quantity ( 3 ) part number : 1138370. stud : HT1 - quantity ( 1 ) part number : 1693595. nut : HN2 - quantity ( 1 ) part number : 5206816.
5. Tighten down all the bolts. Starting on the "front" end of the converter (the end further away from the vehicle's exhaust), tighten the bolts with a suitably-sized wrench. Proceed to the back end when you finish tightening the bolts on the front. You'll want your bolts to be very tight. Notes: Catalytic Converter. Direct-fit oem grade federal (exc.ca). Here's a pic of what I'm working with. Over here catalytic converters aren't required, people remove them all the time. These test pipes are on a lot of cars here for that reason and only cost $10. Pretty cheap alternative to paying for a new cat. This will be on the car for only a few weeks.
